A first for me...
I attended my first football game EVER! Hubby's coworkers went on a group outing to the Stanford vs. USC game complete with tailgate party. We participated in a fabulous cookout/picnic with plenty to eat and drink. We all sat together to watch the game which I actually found quite pleasant, even with the jeering, obnoxious USC fans in front of us.

My gosh, Millie, how have you lived without going to a football game? Down here in the Deep South, it's a religion! Of course, the SEC is the best conference in the nation.
We were pulling for Stanford. We always pull for whoever is playing USC!

Well, being from the USC area myself I have to insist that obnoxious fans are an extreme rarity at the games (LOL)...I too can't believe this was your first football game. I detest football and have still been dragged along to many a game -- that tailgate party is usually fun though. Hope you had a good time. (Next time cheer for USC and those fans probably won't be so obnoxious, he he he.)

Ohhhh Tailgating at a Stanford/USC is the BEST!!!!!! My regulars at my old job went EVERY saturday there was a game. They always had wuit the spread.

I'm not a football fanatic, but they can be a blast, especially when you've got a great group to hang with like you did! Glad you had such a blast!
How cool is that!!! Hard to believe you have not been to a football game. Enjoy the college football the most. Have been going to Kansas State football games for 40 years. That makes me feel old. I started when I was 2, right.LOL
