Catching up...

So where did the last eleven days go? Wish I could say I was out having fun but alas I was just working and going about my normal routine with a little spice thrown in. I started a new medication and broke out in a rash which was horrible with itching, etc. Finally got another med for it and hopefully it will clear up.

In the midst of that I was diligently working on a new model for Little House Needleworks which was a lot of fun to stitch. It's now safely in Diane's hands and you will see it soon enough (well, you know that's all I can say about that...LOL). But I have posted her two new charts which I have added to my stash.
My daughter went out of town for a few days and I agreed to dog sit for her mini yorkie, Lyric and that turned out to be easier and more fun than I anticipated. I never had a pet growing up so I really don't know much about taking care of one. But since Lyric and I both survived the three days I guess it was all good. Bet my doctor would agree that getting out every day to walk the dog would be good for me.

And lastly I bought this book to fuel my Yo Yo obsession and hope to sew that tree on the cover. So I guess I better get back to my patriotic Yo Yo quilt. Progress photos soon!

Quote of the week

"Love is like a friendship caught on fire: in the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As loves grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep burning and unquenchable."

Ornament update...half way done!

One more ornament completed so I'm half way done. Just loving how they are turning out. Hope my family likes them too. I used DMC 327 and 3053 on a 16 count piece of aida in my stash from Sassy's Fabbys.

Quote of the Week

"Life is like an hourglass, eventually everything hits the bottom and all you have to do is wait it out until someone comes along and turns it around."
