WIPs and such...

My friend TDee decided last weekend to update her blog with all her WIPs. Those of us in the same Yahoo group weren't sure if she was shaming us to confess our own WIPs or inspire us a bit. I choose to think of it has a nudge to finish those projects I so lovely started but somehow lost time or enthusiasm for. So here goes the projects I need to finish.
Book of Ink Circles
by Ink Circles
Colonial Women
by Little House Needleworks
Gameboard Sampler
by Drawn Thread
Christmas Double Flip-Its
by Lizzie Kate
Needlemania
by Marc Davis/Diane Jourdan
Double Flips
by Lizzie Kate

And my most forgotten piece...Yes, ladies I'm coming clean! LOL! I actually started this piece in 2003 and it's been sitting in a tube since 2005.

They are all lovely.
Lady is just great. I'd be great to see you pick her up again.

You've gotten a lot done on all of them. I vote for the gameboard and the Lady next!

OMG...your Lady is so pretty and seems to be close to the finish line. Hope to see you finish that one soon....she hates the tube!

Oh my goodness! I remember you stitching The Lady. I always admired the piece and thought you finished it. It is just the beading you need to do right? You got to finish it soon. It needs to be up on your wall. I love your other pieces too. Most of them are done too. Good luck on them!

Those are fantastic. I especially like the first piece. The Lady of the Flag is just beautiful. I like the Lizzy Kate flip-its and have the Christmas one in my WIPs. I pulled out mine and now I am looking for motivation to work on them. Maybe you have inspired me.

Milly, I did the same thing, came clean on my WIPS. I've done the Lady of the flag and she is so gorgeous all framed. It took me at least 6 whole months but it was well worth it. I have Sampler Gameboard on my wishlist but I think it's OOP now. I need to visit Ebay :-)
thanks for sharing....keep stitching!

Oh heck, you don't have nearly as many as I do! But, great job on these; and looks like some are very close to being finished.

Oh, that gameboard is my favorite!! What a lot of work! Do any of them *inspire* you now or are they "what was I thinking" type pieces?? I think I have a few of both types in my stash!! LOL!!

Wow your Book of ink circles is just great, I have just Googled it and found the patterns, Millie we love the same designs, I have just started a cushion front, but I think my next project will be this one. I did have fun doing the Spanish sampler and even added an extra round of patterns.

What a great idea! That way you can see what you have. Things have a way of getting 'lost' and never completed. I love the gameboard!

I enjoy seeing all your WIP's. I finished my Sampler Gameboard earlier this year.

Your Lady of the Flag is beautiful Milly. I had this kit years ago but ended up giving it away as at the time I found it too intimidating- I wish I would have kept it and yours inspired me to look for it on Ebay :) I can't wait to see it finished- your so close.

Wow - there's so much stitching done on most of them... If you were taking a vote, mine would be for the Gameboard. The Lady would come in second because it's so nearly done!
