Weekend Update

After indulging in some quick finishes last week I was ready once again to make a dent in the larger pieces I have in rotation. My focus was on two very long neglected pieces.
Needle Mania as of 10.24.08
Needle Mania as of 01.20.09
Carnation Quaker Sampler as of 08.03.08
Carnation Quaker Sampler as of 01.21.09
My carry a long piece was this cute little "Be Jolly" Santa by Barbara Ana Designs.

Last but not least is the lovely gift I received from my husband for Valentine's Day.

Fantastic progress on your baps, Milly. Is that Santa *adorable* or what? Barbara Ana is a whimsy talent. I adore her designs. It will look great on your ornament tree.

Beautiful BAPs there Milly. I don't think I've seen the Needlemania before, I love it. You are so lucky, you can plant your roses soon. I can barely make mine grow out here, too much wind chill.

All look great, Milly!! Needlemania is so pretty - those greens just make me think of a very early morning in late summer, out in the woods :) I collected the Carnation sampler, but no plans anytime soon for it...

HI Milly,

What wonderful stitching you've been doing! I love the colors you are using for the Carnation piece. I'm a real sucker for red and green together.

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for your blog. It's a real treat to see all the beautiful things you've been working on.
