Weekend Update

I was really "in the zone" this week and spent almost all my free time stitching and trying to make a dent in my WIPs. Rather than concentrate on one piece I rotated a few projects and I'm quite happy with my results. First the finishes. This was my carry-a-long project which I worked on during my lunch hours.
Santa, The Prairie Schooler
Christmas Past, Book #51
This adorable finish came from this blog:

I've fallen behind on Book of Ink Circles (aka BoINK) but I plugging away on it and hope to catch up soon. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! : )
Part Five of the Spanish Sampler by Periphaeria Designs was released so I worked on that one right away and was able to do it in two sittings.

Weekly progress

I concentrated my stitching this week on two projects and made a bit of progress on them both. My goal is to have them completed be the end of February since I want to start a new SAL with my friend Kate.
Progress as of 11.16.2008
Progress as of 01.16.2009
I also added two squares to my Book of Ink Circles and have 3 other squares to get done to get caught up. I believe this project is slated to end in March of this year so I  hope to finish it on schedule. More photos and information about this project can be found at:

Weekend Update

No week is complete without a little stash enhancement. Thanks to Brenda I was enabled when she gave us a link to Cross-Stitch-Art and I just had to get these two. I plan to stitch Scorpio Mandala for my daughter.

I finished the first snowman from the new Prairie Schooler leaflet, Santas & Snowmen, Book #151 which I purchased at my LNS last weekend. Love how he turned out. Hope to get to the others while I'm on vacation.

We recently had a discussion in one of my groups about scissors so I decided to gather mine up and take a picture of them. I think I have a long ways to go before my collection is deemed as "obscene" (as the hubby of one friend put it). LOL!
I also added the latest installment to my Book of Ink Circles
