This week I celebrated my 24th year with Apple. In the midst of the congratulations, well wishes and even jokes, I found myself remembering things from the past and how much technology has improved and grown during my career. One coworker even said to me, "wow, you joined the company before I was even born." Well don't imagine she will even know what this stuff is. So here is a brief stroll down memory lane.
My first go into "technology" was an Underwood typewriter in the 6th grade like this one.

Oh my; I remember taking Typing Class in High School with typewritters just like this one..lol
Hugs, Shar
LOL, how things have changed!
I took touch typing at college and it was a big old black typewriter, boy did that thing give your hands and fingers a workout!
Our first computer was big and clunky too, and we only bought it second hand to play games on - how things change, how on earth would we get on now without them.
Congratulations on your 24 year at Apple Anniversary :-)
I remember when computers lived in a special room all by themselves , paper tape and punched cards. Oh those were the days.
Wow, your post really took me down memory lane. The IBM Selectric, the mimeograph machine (that's what it is, right?) and the old computers. My first computer was called a Wang. You can imagine the joking that went on about that!
wonderful trip down memory lane:-) I remember when the kids where 3 years and we had a commodore, they used to put shining papers in, hoping it would work like a floppy so they could play a game. Needless to say the computer got stuck before we found out what they were doing...
I can remember using every machine pictured at one point or another throughout the years....wow...how time flies.
hehehe the first typewriter I used was even earlier than that with big round keys ... think my dad has still got it :) love mouse xxxxx
The picture after the mimeograph machine - isn't that a Diskwriter? Great pictures Milly.
