Catching up...

So where did the last eleven days go? Wish I could say I was out having fun but alas I was just working and going about my normal routine with a little spice thrown in. I started a new medication and broke out in a rash which was horrible with itching, etc. Finally got another med for it and hopefully it will clear up.

In the midst of that I was diligently working on a new model for Little House Needleworks which was a lot of fun to stitch. It's now safely in Diane's hands and you will see it soon enough (well, you know that's all I can say about that...LOL). But I have posted her two new charts which I have added to my stash.
My daughter went out of town for a few days and I agreed to dog sit for her mini yorkie, Lyric and that turned out to be easier and more fun than I anticipated. I never had a pet growing up so I really don't know much about taking care of one. But since Lyric and I both survived the three days I guess it was all good. Bet my doctor would agree that getting out every day to walk the dog would be good for me.

And lastly I bought this book to fuel my Yo Yo obsession and hope to sew that tree on the cover. So I guess I better get back to my patriotic Yo Yo quilt. Progress photos soon!

Happy dancing for your finish Milly. I'm in a Yahoo group with Rita, who stitched the Spring Band Sampler Model. I had already seen that one!! Grats on the new stash, and hope you're done with all that rashy itchiness. Dog sitting can be great fun. I do it for my brother and his wife whenever they go out of town, and I love their animals. She has two cats, one of which hates me with a passion and hisses and spits at me every time she sees me, and one dog. He's beautiful, but hard to walk. He likes to try and snap at strangers sometimes, and we think it's just cause he gets nervous with strangers walking towards him. I'm good at keeping him away from people though, so I walk him most times when I dog sit. Glad to know you enjoyed it as well, Milly. Hope you had a great day today too!!

What a sweet name - Lyric! Yes indeed, pets are so good for the body and soul. There is quite a bit of responsibility, but hey, after we've raised children, there's nothing to it! Do some research to find a breed that suits your personality and go looking for one. Your heart will be captive before you know it!
