I've devoted most of my stitching to my new model for Little House Needleworks and thankfully I finished it earlier this week and got it off in the mail. I know Diane has received so I can really breathe now. My biggest fear is that the post office would lose it, so I'm always nervous till I know it's safely where it belongs.
I was able to attack my own stitching with a vengeance and made quite a bit of progress. I really wanted to have "a finish" so I decided on this cute little ornament, Sammy Snowcone by Michelle Lutzen. I finished it with these wonderful beads I had in my stash which at the moment I can't even remember where I got them from. They're a bit larger than the usual glass bead but I love how this came out.
As you can see I liked them enough to finish another ornament, Faith Hope Peace which I stitched back in late December of 2010.
As part of Valentine's Day I painted these little wooden boxes for my kids which I filled with candy...Jelly Belly for my daughter and See's Candies for my son. My daughter is a collector of Wonder Women items so I couldn't resist getting her this little cutie.
I got these from my generous, loving husband.

you have been a very busy woman and I love the flowers!
Wow Milly! Nice finishes, beautiful daughter, gorgeous flowers from a 'loving husband'. Nice post. Thanks for sharing it all. :) Cathryn
It is totally darling Milly, both finishes, are cute as buttons :)
And I'm a background lurker and I loved seeing your finishes hung on the wall over your daughter's shoulder :)
Both ornaments are adorable, Millie, and the beads just "make" them. Great idea! I love the candy boxes as well and where on earth do you find Wonder Woman anything these days? The Valentine roses are beautiful - that guy is something special, Mils. Oh, and like Vonna, I'm a background lurker (LOL), and I noticed your finished pieces on the wall. Very nice touch, dear one!
Adorable finishes Milly! LOVE the snowcone...of course! Cute boxes too!
Such adorable ornaments, Milly! Great stitching and finishing, and I love those beads. :)
