Gee lately it seems I have fallen behind in so many things including keeping up with my blog. I haven't done as much stitching as I've done in the past but I sure can't seem to account for all my time either. It all began back in July when my daughter moved back to California from Arizona and moved in with me for two months. I spent more time with her, the weather was nice and the summer days just slipped by. We managed a week in Lake Tahoe, a visit to San Antonio to visit our new grandson, a trip to Las Vegas for a wedding, and I even had foot surgery. Of course there was my full time job which has kept me very busy in the past few months.
With the arrival of Fall, my daughter settled into her new home, and just one more wedding things are almost "back to normal" and I am craving more stitching time. I'm in the middle of stitching another model for Country Cottage Needleworks and decided this weekend to give myself a treat and find something I could start and finish in a short time. I decided on this great ornament by Little House Needleworks.

I started The Family Sampler by Little House Needleworks and have very little to show for it but decided to post what I have (progress as of 11/14/10).

Cute ornie & love the unique fabby color. My progress on FS is slow to and I need to get busy! You have had some busy months, but at least you were enjoying time with family.
Reading all that's been going on in your household....no wonder you haven't gotten much stitching done!
I love the ornament and look forward to seeing progress on your Family Sampler and the release of the model you're stitching.
Love the ornament. I have done mine too but it's a gift for someone and no photo yet. :)
I hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
