Weekly Update

I spent the week stitching on  my current WIP, Sunflower Inn by Little House Needleworks.

Today I spent the day at my LNS stitching the day away while waiting for hubby who rode his bicycle from our home to Morgan Hill (for a 40-mile ride) in preparation for doing the Tour de Cure on Sunday, June 14th. In spite of an injury he completed his "training" today. Trying to get his water bottle back into place he dropped it and made a sudden stop which cause him to fall off his bike. He's got quite the scrape right below his knee as the girls at the shop can attest to. The shop owner Teri was kind enough to get him cleaned up and bandaged. For those interested in sponsoring his ride and supporting a cure for diabetes here is the link to his direct page. Thanks for your support!

While at the shop I got some threads for my new chart, Rubie's Owl Sampler by Paulette of  PLUM STREET SAMPLERS

Absolutely gorgeous stitching Milly. Hope your hubby heals quickly, so he can enjoy the ride for a cure. Those scrapes are really painful.
