Weekly Update

Happy Sunday! Considering how much back pain I had last Sunday I'm happy to say that today I feel loads better. I want to thank everyone who left the get well messages here and to those who sent emails. Can't tell you how much they all cheered me up.

I don't have much stitching to show but I did manage to stitch this adorable complimentary design, "Tiny House" provided by Diane Williams of Little House Needleworks to members of the LHN&CCN Yahoo Group. My finishing technique is not the best but I managed to finish it into a floss tag.

I've been working on a baby blanket for Izaiah, the grandson who is scheduled to make his much anticipated debut in May of this year. I'm using some Sugar'n Cream yarn in blue blends.
Lastly I leave you with my "mini" stash enhancement. I was featured in the January issue of The Gift of Stitching Magazine and received a $30 certificate to use in her store. No surprise I'm sure to some of you, I chose the Starr of Mine Stitching Kit. This designed by Diane of Little House Needleworks was featured in an earlier version of the online magazine. Thanks also to some gift certificates I got for Christmas I was able to purchase the fabric and all the floss needed to stitch The Library.

Weekend Update

After having my family all together for Mother's Day, I was ready for some stitching once they all departed for home. One of the Yahoo groups I belong to is having a "freebies" SAL this month so I dug into my stash (wow, do I have a lot of freebies stored away!) and found two I wanted to stitch...well for starters. : )

I also added Part Five to my Alla Turca SAL and started a new piece by Little House Needleworks for our SAL in the LHN/CCN Yahoo group.
